Best players of United Cup round 2 (by Hoops Agents)

Experienced Clarence Tillman (196-SF-1990) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's leader Georgia Panthers and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 2.
The 35-year old got a double-double of 21 points and 10 assists, while his team crushed Sharks (#2, 2-1) with 24-point margin 97-73. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Panthers to consolidate first place in the United Cup. The season is still on an early stage, but Georgia P. already had a very good start winning all 3 without losing a single one. Tillman just recently signed at Panthers, being already a very valuable addition to the team. University of North Georgia graduate has very impressive stats this year. Tillman is league's best scorer averaging so far 22.3ppg and is league's best passer with 5.7apg. Tillman is in league's top in rebounds (6th best: 6.0rpg). Worth to mention Tillman played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was another Georgia P.'s star - young Dominican Rep. forward Angel Rivas (198-F-1993). Rivas impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 18 points and 10 rebounds. Of course together with Tillman he helped Georgia Panthers with another comfortable win outscoring Sharks (2-1) 97-73. A very good start of the season for his team, which won so far all 3 games without any defeat. Rivas is one of the most experienced players at Panthers and similarly like Clarence Tillman has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 14.0ppg (#7). He also registered 9.5 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was American Brandon Hill (185-G-1987) of US Titans Yerevan (#3). Hill showcased his all-around game by recording 3 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists in the last round. Despite Hill's great performance the US Titans lost 59-62 to #1 ranked Correcaminos. But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. US Titans can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have awful season losing so far all 3 games. Hill has individually a great season in United Cup. After only 2 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 6.0rpg (7th best) and assists with 5.0apg (2nd best).
